Tracy Brown – Veterinary Technician
Trayc’s career at Demanes Animal Hospital began in 1996. She began working part time along with a
full time job as a phlebotomist. Her medical training came from years spent overseas in the US Army
working with NATO. Trayc’s three pets were all rescues that found their way to Demanes Animal
Hospital. Mataya is a friendly Great Dane/ Lab mix. Tawnee and Arson are two precocious cats. Trayc
enjoys camping, fishing, softball, and being outdoors.
Teena Roth- Veterinary Technician
Teena has worked at Demanes Animal Hospital since March, 1999 and has been training
dogs since 1994. She shows her dogs in Obedience,Agility and Conformation. Teena
currently has two dogs,2 German Shepherds, Xitta ,Yuri and a Rottweiler , Nova. Teena
enjoys canine photography and canine behavior, and is also an AKC Canine Good
Citizen evaluator and UKC Socialized Pet Obedience Tester .

Holly Brooks- Veterinary Technician
Demanes Animal Hospital became Holly’s home shortly after getting married in 2004. She
was a client with a sugar glider prior to becoming an employee. For Holly, it has been a
dream come true to finally be working with animals. Rescue dogs, Brownie, Bella, and
Dallas and a tortoise Rufus share their home with Holly her husband Jeff and their two
sons Jack and Joseph.  Holly enjoys art and design in her free time.
Kailey Mansfield - Veterinary Technician

Kailey first started at Demanes Animal Hospital in November 2010. She
then moved to the Chicago area with her fiance after he graduated
from Bradley University. In 2014, Kailey got married and honeymooned
in Hawaii. Family and friends were excited when Kailey moved back to
Peoria and Kailey was back at Demanes Animal Hospital in 2015. Her
pets include 2 ball pythons, 2 bearded dragons, a leopard gecko, and a
lovely surprise gift  a kitty named Kimber Mouse. Kailey also enjoys
candy, sweets, shopping and anything Hello Kitty.     MEOW!!!
Taylor Price - Veterinary Technician
Taylor started at Demanes Animal Hospital in the summer of 2012. She has spent most of
her life in Peoria and Mapleton. She shares her heart and her home with her 3 four
legged sons Perry the puggle, Bear the dachshund and Tuxedo the kitty. She loves
fishing, getting her nails done, riding 4wheelers,and walking with her dogs, but not all at
the same time.  
Taryn Baker-

Taryn was born and raised in Peoria IL. After high school she moved to
Chicago and earned her Bachelors in Media Art and Animation. After many
adventures in the Windy City it was time to return to Peoria. Taryn has always
had a love for animals and has been grateful for the opportunity to work at
Demanes Animal Hospital. She is kept company at home by Bandit the lab ,
Leroy the cat and Kerrigan kitty . In her free time Taryn like to work on art
projects and play lots of video games.   
Melissa Pickens – Veterinary Technician/ Receptionist
Melissa began working part time at Demanes Animal Hospital in 2003 while in
high school. After graduating from Illinois State University, she began working
full time. In 2012, Melissa got married, bought a new home, and fell in love with
her Rottweiler Exuma and Nahla.  In her spare time, Melissa and her husband,
Cliff enjoy traveling and running marathons together.
Angie Horsley – Veterinary Technician
Angie began working for Demanes Animal Hospital in 1999. She has spent most of her adult
life working with animals and could never imagine doing anything else.  Angie’s family
consists of the four most well behaved dogs, labs Lexi and Lucy, and schnauzers Haylee  and
Tyson. Angie enjoys spending time at home cuddling with her furry kids and swooning over
Luke Bryan.
Ciji Schoedel – Veterinary Technician
Ciji joined the Demanes Animal Hospital team in 2007. She feels she has been very
blessed in her life with a wonderful family. She has four beautiful daughters, 2
human and 2 canine. Ciji and her husband, Tony, live a very active lifestyle and
enjoy doing anything outdoors including working out, running, hiking, water and
snow skiing. Her daughter enjoys playing with their bulldogs, Chloe Sue and Lillian
Rose.
